The “Arrullo del Niño” (Lullaby for Baby Jesus) is a Mexican tradition where participants bring their own image of Baby Jesus and, after a blessing by the priest, they sing lullaby for the sleepy Baby Jesus. Each family should name the “padrinos” of their Baby Jesus; they would be in charge of dressing and carefully rocking the Baby with a blanket.
The “Arrullo del Niño” is celebrated each year during the Posada that falls on the Saturday before Christmas.
